Jon Pritchard lives in Delray Beach, Florida & came from Minnesota in 2015. I worked in the trades as a carpenter & general contractor.
I became inspired to make artwork while working for a firm in Minnesota as a Gold & Silver commodities broker in 2009-2010. I would sit at my desk & sketch designs with 1oz. silver coins, quarter, nickels, dimes, creating unique & symmetrical shapes & designs. At that time I learned of Bitcoin from a client when it was .03 - $1.00 & never bought any. I later researched it in late 2016 & bought my first Bitcoin in Feb 2017.
Inspired by the emerging Financial - Digital - Sci-Fi worlds I like building pieces using a layered effect and some LED's to cast shadows & patterns, most of my pieces have LED lighting glow that make them feel alive in the evenings. Inspired by symmetry, ordered lines, circles, & angles. I'm drawn to mixed media art made with a combination of wood, glass, LED lights, metals, granite, rivets, acrylic.
